This was my most productive photographic trip to Northern Ecuador. We saw a number of new species, for us, and they just kept coming, day after day oftentimes with wonderful light conditions. There continues to be unabated pressure to extract resources from the Yasuni. The local tribes along the Napo River seem to be powerless to slow the destruction. There still are areas that are protected, for now.
