Panama 2014
Armed with a knowledgeable nature guide I re-traced some footsteps taken long ago by one of my uncles who was stationed in steamy Panama in the 1930’s. As a natural bridge linking north and south Americas, the land captures fauna found in both and also produces its own endemics. This trip explores the Canal Zone and areas just east and west of this technical wonder. I plan to return to explore the Darien and western lowlands and highlands.
